Sleeping Sloth

Our app ‘Sleeping Sloth’ is designed for those who have sleeping disorders or have trouble sleeping. Some of the features in the app includes tracking the user’s sleep, giving them sleep advice, and helping them relax or get better sleeping hours. Furthermore, our app will provide the users with music and noise such as white noise, wave noise, rain, ASMR and Lo-Fi to play before they fall asleep to help them fall in a restful sleep. A calendar button will also be added which will take them to a monthly calendar which will show the user how much sleep they got in the past, this includes individual day trackers and monthly trackers,(the user must log the amount of sleep they got each night). There will also be a button for tips/tricks that will take them to a page that shows many tips and tricks, which we had received from our chosen partnership and local community. We also implemented cute animal characters which will be the user’s pet. The user’s pet will be assigned to them after taking a survey which they complete when they first create an account. There are three characters, each has different levels. These characters will be on the user’s home screen, when the user gets a good amount of sleep the pet will look happy, when the user gets a low amount of sleep, the pet will look sad. There will be notifications from the characters themselves which will indicate if they got enough sleep and to give them notifications to log the amount of sleep they have accumulated.
