NSW Secondary School Regional Winner

Safe Space targets members of the LGBTQIA+ community. It’s a combination of a social media platform and helps users find safe LGBTQ+ spaces in their town, or our app can be used from those who just want to learn more about the community. 15–18-year-olds are able to use this app to communicate with one another other using a web chat. Some features and aspects of our app are web chats, a motivating articles page, a tabs page, hotlines, list of safe spaces and an LGBTQIA+ definitions page. In total, Safe Space is exactly how it sounds, a safe space.
